Estrategias de Prevención. Para la protección de los derechos de los Pueblos Indígenas en Aislamiento se establecen medidas de prevención en dos categorías

Prevención temprana: componente orientado a identificar y prevenir las causas que generan las amenazas a los Derechos de los Pueblos Indígenas en Aislamiento, que buscan evitar su vulneración.

Prevención urgente: componente que, ante el riesgo de una violación de derechos de los Pueblos Indígenas en Aislamiento, adopta acciones, planes y programas orientados a atender la contingencia y desactivar las amenazas para evitar su ocurrencia.
