- INVERSIONES El Fondo de Garantías de Instituciones Financieras podrá destinar los recursos que excedan los requerimientos que tenga para el desempeño de sus funciones, a inversiones en títulos emitidos por el Banco de la República o por el Gobierno Nacional. Tales operaciones deberán realizarse con sujeción a los objetivos propios del Fondo y conforme a los criterios de rentabilidad y eficiencia que señale la Junta Directiva del Banco República de esa entidad.
