Seguridad en el transporte fluvial . El responsable de la aplicación del presente reglamento que involucre en sus labores el transporte fluvial, así como los capitanes y las tripulaciones deberán dar cumplimiento a las normas de seguridad en la navegación fluvial, de gestión para la seguridad operacional de embarcaciones y la prevención de la contaminación establecidas en la normatividad vigente y en general a las normas que expida el Ministerio de Transporte en el marco de sus competencias.
