Asunción de competencias. De conformidad con lo dispuesto en la Ley 715 de 2001, las mismas funciones y responsabilidades asignadas en este Capítulo a los alcaldes distritales y a las secretarías de educación distritales, serán también cumplidas por los alcaldes y secretarías de educación de los municipios que obtengan la certificación que les permita la administración del Sistema General de Participaciones y la prestación del servicio educativo.
