En la actuación disciplinaria se buscará la verdad material. Para ello se deberán investigar con igual rigor los hechos y circunstancias que demuestren la existencia de la falta disciplinaria, la responsabilidad del investigado y los que tiendan a demostrar su inexistencia o lo eximan de responsabilidad. Para tal efecto se podrán decretar pruebas de oficio.
