De la competencia . Corresponde al Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social o la dependencia que haga sus veces y a las direcciones departamentales y municipales del sistema de salud, efectuar la inscripción en el registro pertinente. En todo caso las direcciones departamentales y municipales del sistema de salud, deberán remitir al Ministerio de Salud y Protección Social la información de la inscripción, para efectos de organizar el registro nacional de instituciones. (Artículo 64 del Decreto 1088 de 1991)
