° La comisión a que se refiere el artículo anterior, deberá realizar un estudio sobre la situación actual de la Policía Nacional y su futuro, que aporte al Gobierno los elementos suficientes para elaborar un programa de modernización y actualización de dicha Institución. La comisión deberá entregar al Gobierno recomendaciones, en el término de cuarenta (40) días, contados a partir de la expedición del presente Decreto.
