Condiciones de Alta para prestaciones. Al Oficial o Suboficial de la Policía Nacional en servicio activo que se encuentre en el exterior, se liquidará en caso de retiro, los tres (3) meses de alta y demás prestaciones, en moneda colombiana sobre la base de los haberes que recibirá si se encontrase prestando sus servicios en la guarnición de Bogotá. En caso de muerte del Oficial o Suboficial, se procederá en igual forma para el reconocimiento de las prestaciones a favor de sus beneficiarios.
