Honores. Los militares condecorados con la Orden Militar de “San Mateo”, cuando la porten en el uniforme, tiene derecho a honores por parte de las guardias de guarnición, de prevención, de buques de guerra etc., para lo cual forman y presentan armas. En los actos y ceremonias oficiales se les asigna puesto de preferencia.
