La documentación a que se refiere este Decreto debe estar debidamente actualizada, entendiéndose que se ajustan a este requisito los documentos expedidos dentro del año inmediatamente anterior a la fecha de su presentación. Se exceptúan aquellos documentos que en virtud de normas especiales tengan una vigencia diferente. El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores podrá solicitar la información o documentos adicionales que estime convenientes para comprobar las calidades de los extranjeros que deseen naturalizarse o inscribirse.
