Se entiende por período de prueba el tiempo durante el cual el empleado demostrará su capacidad de adaptación progresiva al cargo para el cual fue nombrado, su eficiencia, competencia, habilidades y aptitudes en el desempeño de las funciones y su integración a la cultura institucional. El período de prueba deberá iniciarse con la inducción en el puesto de trabajo.
