Articulo 6 º. La Oficina funcionará bajo la dirección de un Director designado por el Gobierno Nacional, funcionario que coordinará, por intermedio de los integrantes del Consejo Nacional de Política Económica y Planeación, los esfuerzos de las distintas entidades, interesadas, para lograr la armónica realización de los fines del Tratado. Para alcanzar tal objetivo los integrantes del Consejo velarán porque los datos, informes y estudios solicitados por la Oficina de Comercio Exterior a las entidades que ellos representan, sean pronta y cuidadosamente diligenciados, e igualmente someterán al estudio de la Oficina los aspectos o puntos derivados del Tratado que juzguen de especial importancia.
