º . Caución . El registro inicial de vehículos de transporte terrestre automotor de carga particular y público también podrá otorgarse cuando el solicitante constituya una caución consistente en garantía bancaria o póliza de seguros a favor del Ministerio de Transporte, que garantice que el cumplimiento del proceso de desintegración se llevará a cabo en un término no superior a seis (6) meses. Dicha caución deberá ser presentada para su aprobación ante el Ministerio de Transporte. Para el registro inicial de estos vehículos, el Ministerio de Transporte, expedirá una certificación con destino a los organismos de tránsito, en la que conste la aprobación de la respectiva caución.
