Quien fuere aceptado como Subjefe de Servicio, o profesor asistente o catedrático asistente, será nombrado inicialmente por un periodo de dos años. Transcurridos éstos, el nombramiento podrá ser renovado por períodos de igual duración. No habrá titularidad en estos cargos.
