Art. 6.° El Banco Nacional dividirá en veinte y cuatro partes iguales el saldo que aún resta por emitir en billetes para completar el máximum fijado por la Ley 124 de 1887, y mensualmente pasará á la Tesorería general cada tina de ellas, para atender al pago de los rematas. La diferencia hasta completar el monto de remates mensuales se tomará de los fondos comunes del Tesoro observándose las reglas sobre prelación de pagos fijados en la Ley de presupuestos.
