Será castigado con una multa de cincuenta a doscientos pesos todo funcionario público que, teniendo conocimiento de una detención ilegal, omita, retarde o rehuse dictar las medidas para hacerla cesar, siendo competente para ello, o no la denuncie a la autoridad que deba hacerlo.
