Acuerdo de transporte . Es el convenio celebrado entre empresas de transporte marítimo nacionales o extranjeras, el cual puede tener por objeto, entre otros, el de mejorar los servicios, racionalizar el empleo de buques, coordinar formas de atender eficientemente los tráficos a más bajos costos, concertar tarifas para su posterior registro, tomar en fletamento buques, arrendar buques, o cualquier otra modalidad, incluidos los acuerdos que limiten los volúmenes de carga transportables, repartan tráficos, distribuyan cargas, alternen zarpes y puertos o compartan ingresos, utilidades o pérdidas y en general, cualquier concertación de términos y condiciones para servir tráficos desde y hacia Colombia.
