Los poderes o sustituciones de éstos que se otorguen en el Extranjero y no se extiendan ante Cónsul colombiano, se deben autenticar por un Ministro o Cónsul de Colombia, o en su defecto por el de una nación amiga. Si se presentan en esta forma, se presume que se han ceñido a la ley del respectivo país.
