Seguimiento Pasivo RF. Es el sistema de vigilancia electrónica ordenado por el juez o como medida de control adoptada por el Instituto Nacional Penitenciario y Carcelario, según sea el caso, a través del cual se instala un dispositivo consistente en un brazalete o una tobillera en el cuerpo del sindicado, imputado o acusado, según fuere el caso, el cual trasmite a una unidad receptora, la que a su vez se encuentra conectada a una línea telefónica convencional.
