ARTICULO 1o. Naturaleza Jurídica. - Transfórmase a la Corporación Eléctrica de la Costa Atlántica - CORELCA, establecimiento público creado por la Ley 59 de 1967 y reorganizado por el Decreto Extraordinario 636 de 1974 y por la Ley 57 de 1975, en una Empresa Industrial y Comercial del Estado, entidad del orden nacional que continuará vinculada al Ministerio de Minas y Energía y cuyo funcionamiento y organización se regirán además de las normas legales pertinentes, por las siguientes reglas:
