Reservas legales, estatutarias y ocasionales. El Fondo Nacional de Ahorro deberá constituir una reserva legal en los términos del Estatuto Orgánico del Sistema Financiero. Adicionalmente, los estatutos del Fondo Nacional de Ahorro podrán establecer la constitución de reservas con cargo a los excedentes financieros. Del mismo modo, la Junta Directiva podrá ordenar que se constituyan reservas ocasionales siempre que tengan una destinación específica. En cualquier caso, las reservas no podrán constituirse o apropiarse para fines distintos al fortalecimiento y seguridad del objeto y funciones del Fondo Nacional de Ahorro.
