El Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad, DAS, estudiará la documentación, adelantará la investigación y elaborará un informe, dentro del término de 120 días calendario prorrogables hasta tanto se decida si procede o no su regularización. En caso de cumplir con los requisitos establecidos en el presente decreto, le expedirá al extranjero un salvoconducto para trámite de visa por el término de 90 días calendario, improrrogable, sin costo alguno.
