LEGISLACIÓN ANTERIOR

Artículo 2.4.1.1.2.13. Exámenes Médicos. Los exámenes médicos reglamentarios, tanto iniciales como periódicos que debe acreditar toda gente de mar, serán practicados por médicos de la Sanidad Portuaria o en su defecto por médico al servicio del armador que previamente haya sido inscrito y autorizado como tal por la Dirección General Marítima, quienes verificarán en particular la agudeza visual y la capacidad de distinguir los colores, la capacidad auditiva, y en los casos correspondientes, el habla, además del estado general de salud, de conformidad con la regla I/IX del Convenio STCW 78/95 Enmendado.
