Al espirar los ochenta años espresados en el artículo 12 del citado contrato, las dos terceras partes del ferrocarril, con sus anexidades i dependencias, pasarán a ser propiedad del Gobierno nacional, i la tercera parte del Gobierno del Estado de Santander, sin indemnización alguna.
