Art. 2°. El retrato al óleo, costeado por el Tesoro nacional, de este insigne ciudadano, será colocado en el salón del Senado de Plenipotenciarios, con esta inscripción:

"Al Presidente de Colombia, Francisco Javier Zaldúa, el Congreso nacional, en testimonio de respeto y veneración."
