La Nación se asocia a la celebración de los cincuenta (50) años de fundación del Municipio de Rivera, en el Departamento del Huila, cuna del poeta, narrador, escritor José Eustacio Rivera, constituidos en entidad territorial el día 1° de agosto de 1943 mediante Ordenanza número 04 del 12 de mayo del mismo año, y exaltó el esfuerzo permanente de sus habitantes en pro del desarrollo.
