La Procuraduría General de la Nación practicará visitas trimestrales a la Sala Penal de la Corte Suprema de Justicia y a las Salas Penales de los Tribunales Superiores de Distrito Judicial, con el objeto de dar cumplimiento, en lo que fuere aplicable, a lo prescrito en el artículo 96 de este Código.
