El martes treinta y uno (31) de mayo a las 9:00 a.m., en la respectiva capital intendencial o comisarial, se dará inicio al escrutinio general, el cual se realizará en la sede de la Intendencia o Comisaria. Cuando no sea posible terminar el escrutinio antes de las 9:00 p.m., del citado día se continuará a las 9:00 a.m., del día siguiente, y si tampoco termina, se proseguirá durante los días calendario subsiguientes y en las horas indicadas hasta concluirlo.
