Se permite el uso de métodos alternos de construcción y de materiales cubiertos, pero cuya metodología constructiva sea diferente a la prescrita por éstos, siempre y cuando el diseñador estructural y el constructor presenten, en conjunto, un memorial en el cual inequívocamente aceptan las responsabilidades que se derivan de la metodología alterna de construcción.
