Para todos los efectos legales, en especial los de carácter tributario y contractuales con las entidades estatales, se establece que las actividades, planes, programas y proyectos que cumplen los jardines botánicos constituidos con sujeción a las disposiciones de esta Ley, tienen el carácter de actividades de ciencia y tecnología.
