Renuncia . El Cónsul Honorario que presentare su renuncia, deberá hacerlo por escrito dirigido al Ministro de Relaciones Exteriores, por conducto de la Misión Diplomática correspondiente, quien la remitirá a la Dirección de Asuntos Migratorios, Consulares y Servicio al Ciudadano para el trámite correspondiente. Una vez se acepte la renuncia, se comunicará al interesado por intermedio de la Misión Diplomática correspondiente, que será la responsable de informar del hecho al Estado receptor.
