En la basa del monumento se inscribirán los nombres de los que, en calidad de Capitanes jenerales, dirijieron la sublevación de los comuneros en 1781, i las fechas en que libraron la batalla del Puente-Nacional; aquella en que firmaron la capitulación de Cipaquirá (7 de junio de 1971), i, por último la del descuartizamiento de los Jefes de la sublevación (30 de enero de 1782).
