° El citado Cajero Almacenista responderá de todos los bienes que se le entreguen para su guarda o custodia; recibirá los dineros indispensables para los pagos que debe verificar de acuerdo con las órdenes e instrucciones que le comunique el respectivo superior; rendirá a la Contraloría General de la República la cuenta comprobada de esos pagos, y prestará antes de posesionarse, la fianza legal necesaria por la cuantía que fije el Contralor General.
