Imposición de medidas de salvaguardia. El Comité de Asuntos Aduaneros, Arancelarios y de Comercio Exterior estudiará el informe presentado por el Incomex y presentará al Consejo Superior de Comercio Exterior la recomendación correspondiente. El Consejo Superior de Comercio Exterior evaluará y emitirá concepto previo al Gobierno, para que adopte las modificaciones a las tarifas arancelarias conforme a las disposiciones legales pertinentes. Cuando se trate de restricciones cuantitativas, dicho Consejo Superior adoptará la decisión pertinente. Sección II De la salvaguardia provisional
