Acreditación de la calidad de afiliado . El paciente que ingresa a una Institución Prestadora de Servicios de Salud informará sobra su calidad de afiliado al Sistema General de Seguridad Social en Salud y presentará el carné respectivo. De la calidad de afiliado se dejará constancia en los documentos de ingreso del paciente y se comunicará de tal hecho dentro de las veinticuatro (24) horas siguientes a la EPS o ARS correspondiente para los trámites a que haya lugar.
