El suministro de prótesis, grandes aparatos y otras prestaciones en especie de gran complejidad e importancia, así como de tratamientos de readaptación funcional o reeducación profesional, estarán subordinados a la autorización previa de la institución competente, salvo casos de urgencia en que las prestaciones no puedan ser diferidas sin comprometer gravemente la salud del interesado. El Comité Administrador determinará y actualizará periódicamente, con carácter obligatorio, las prótesis, grandes aparatos y prestaciones en especie que debará quedar Comprendidos en esta disposición.
