° La Dirección General del Instituto estará a cargo de una Junta Directiva formada por los Jefes de las respectivas Secciones y presidida por un Director, el cual será designado por el Consejo Directivo de la Facultad de Medicina entre los miembros de la Junta Directiva del Instituto. El Director durará un año en el ejercicio de sus funciones y podrá ser reelegido.
