Los Oficiales del Escalafón Regular que, de conformidad con lo establecido en el artículo 3º. de esta ley, sean inscritos en el Escalafón Complementario, no podrán volver a pertenecer a aquél, ni ascender al grado inmediatamente superior. Su actividad profesional está encauzada a servir, principalmente, en dependencias de los Estados Mayores, Planas mayores y en cargos administrativos.
