El período del Presidente de la República es de cuatro años, que principiarán a contarse del 7 de agosto del año respectivo. Servirá de fecha inicial el 7 de agosto de 1914.

Parágrafo

En el caso del artículo 27 del Acto legislativo número 3 de 1910, el ciudadano que sea elegido Presidente de la República Ejercerá solamente por el resto del período que esté en curso.
