El Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos, Invima, podrá delegar las funciones relacionadas con la vigilancia y el control de los productos cosméticos en las Direcciones Territoriales de Salud que cuenten con los recursos técnicos y operativos exigidos por el Ministerio de Salud.
