Entiéndese por carne aprobada condicionalmente, aquella que ha sido inspeccionada y aprobada para consumo humano, a condición de que, con anterioridad a la autorización para su distribución sea sometida a tratamiento bajo supervisión oficial, con el objeto de volverla inocua para los fines señalados y evitar así riesgos para la salud humana, en casos tales como cisticercosis y cromatosis.
