OBLIGATORIEDAD DEL CARGO. El defensor designado de oficio o el que hubiere aceptado el nombramiento hecho por el procesado, que sin justa causa no cumpliere con los deberes que el cargo le impone, será requerido por el juez o el instructor para que lo desempeñe, con multas sucesivas hasta de mil pesos cada una, que en caso de renuencia impondrán los mismos funcionarios, sin perjuicio de las demás sanciones establecidas por la ley.
