El auxilio concedido al Hospital de Caridad de Barranquilla por la Ley 43 de 1890, se eleva á la suma de seis mil pesos anuales ($ 6,000). Auméntase igualmente á cuatro mil pesos ($ 4,000) el auxilio concedido al Hospital de Caridad de Chiquinquirá. También se aumenta el auxilio concedido por la misma Ley á los siguientes hospitales, así: Al de Bucaramanga á$2,500Piedeonesta á1,500Zapatoca á1,000Leiva á1,500Guateque á2,500Cartagena á4,000Cartago á1,200Tenza á1,000Socorro á2,000Tunja á4.000
