ARTICULO 82. Retiro absoluto. Los Agentes de la Policía Nacional serán retirados en forma absoluta del servicio por incapacidad absoluta y permanente o gran invalidez y por haber cumplido sesenta (60) años, edad ésta en que cesa para ellos toda obligación policial.
