El optómetra debe acudir en ayuda de sus colegas que hayan tenido actuaciones desafortunadas, sufrido tragedias o calamidades domésticas, o que de cualquier forma requieran el apoyo y solidaridad de todos los colegas. Deberá colaborar con sus colegas en la medida que sus capacidades siempre que le sea solicitado.
