El Ministerio de Justicia y del Derecho continuará ejerciendo las funciones de la Dirección de Defensa Jurídica de la Nación, de que trata el Decreto 4530 de 2008 a través de un grupo de trabajo adscrito al Despacho del Viceministro de Promoción de la Justicia, hasta tanto entre en funcionamiento la Unidad Administrativa Especial Agencia Nacional de Defensa Jurídica de la Nación, creada en la Ley 1444 de 2011.
