Autorízase al Gobierno Nacional para que, en desarrollo de la Ley 163 de 1959 , por la cual se establece el Estatuto sobre defensa y conservación del patrimonio histórico, artístico y monumentos públicos de la Nación, adquiera por intermedio del Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales la farmacia y los instrumentos quirúrgicos que pertenecieron al doctor Alejandro Próspero Reverand, médico del Libertador Simón Bolívar, los cuales se hallan transitoriamente en la Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino donde deben permanecer y son de propiedad de particulares.
