Sobre el valor bruto de la producción de las minas de esmeraldas pertenecientes a la reserva especial del Muzo, coscuez y Peñas Blancas, el Departamento de Boyacá tendrá derecho a una participación del cinco por ciento (5%). Los Municipios de Muzo, San Pablo de Bortur, Otanche, Pauna, La Victoria y Maripí, a una Participación del uno por ciento (1%) cada uno.
