Los organismos que en virtud de lo dispuesto en el artículo 331 del Decreto 50 de 1987 dejan de cumplir funciones de Policía Judicial, pondrán a disposición del Ministerio de Defensa Nacional, en forma inmediata, sus armas de dotación oficial. Quienes en la actualidad integran esos cuerpos, podrán ser vinculados a la Policía Judicial o al Departamento Administrativo de Seguridad, DAS, de acuerdo con las necesidades del servicio y según sus capacidades profesionales.
