Articulo 55 . Los funcionarios de la Carrera Diplomática y Consular que reúnan los requisitos legales en cuanto a edad y tiempo de servicio, que hayan alcanzado la categoría de Embajador y que al retirarse del servicio soliciten su pensión de jubilación o invalidez tendrán derecho a que ésta les sea liquidada y pagada con base en las asignaciones de los Ministros del Despacho, calculada a la fecha de retiro del funcionario.
